Milford Sound village is nestled at the end of the spectacular fiord. It is a small village with Milford Sound Lodge, Blue Duck Bar & Cafe, Milford Sound Wharf, airport and private accommodation for local workers and track walkers. There is petrol available in Milford but you will need a credit card with pin number.
Allow time to take a stroll around the foreshore, listen out for the local birds that frequent the area. Pay a visit to the Blue Duck Cafe and Bar and enjoy a coffee while admiring the views of Mitre Peak. If you are lucky our resident family of weka may come out to say hello!.
